how do you do those schimatics People see all the time

I think they usually invert the colors, or some such effect. Then you can use indesign, or photoshop, or even paint I suppose, to do the landlines for labels. After that its mostly just fancy font and naming stuff...

One cool schematic might be to spawn your ship as an enemy and click attack on the core. It makes all the edges of all sections appear, or something like that,, I'll try to take one to show you. Just have to pause the game and take a screenshot fast enough.

*edit* heres a quick example that sucks, but you can do that in a few minutes so theres really alot more you can do with it if you have the inclination.
