Make them .gifs.

They're .pngs.

Ok. So, any gif file that is added is automatically a doodad?

Ever considered that it might be faster to just read the documentation?

I just checked the manual, Kaelis, and it doesn't say which file type is for which type of component.

And don't forget Kaelis, the act of digging through game files which are all in conveniently labeled folders is out of the average user's reach.

Documentation, not manual.

I'm looking at the documentation, and nowhere in the Custom Sprite Import section does it mention anything about .gifs and .pngs importing differently as doodads or sections. You may want to fix that, dude.

Anyway. if you drag and drop a .gif into the Shipmaker, it will ask if you want it to be a doodad or a section. .png files are always imported as sections.

Errrr...
Kaelis wrote:To import a section or doodad and insert it directly onto the grid in SM, simply drag and drop the files onto the SM window. If you drag a gif, you will be presented with an option to make it either a section or a doodad.
And it was more of a general request, really.

By documentation, do you mean the posts you put on the forums?
