It comes packaged with all the new BSF downloads. Just download the newest version of the game for the newest version of SB3.

All right. That's what I read, but when I saw the filename was the same I second guessed it.

Thank you, Sponge.

I know it was mentioned before that the old old shipbuilder files couldn't be converted to .sb2... is it the same deal with .sb2 to .sb3? I kinda finished building the hull of a monstrous ship just before the new version came out, and it's frustrating to know that I can't finish my ship with all the custom weapons options that were just added.

I'm just wondering, how to rotate the booster module in the ship maker?
i've tried the usual method (the J and L keys)

Thanks

You can't rotate modules.

Another question, how do you use the clone group and move group commands?

For that matter, how do you create groups?

A group is the selected piece and all children of that piece. As for using them, try selecting a piece, then right click on another piece and do "clone group". It's easier to understand when you actually try it.

Problem with beams

Post by phyg »

um, another problem. I' ve tried using a 120 degree beam with turning 3.

The problem is, the beam keep turning back to the original position once a section was destroyed even though the enemy ship is still there and the beam is still firing. Is there anyway to stop this?

Nope. If it turns again, this means the enmy is out of range. Out of range, out of heart.

It could also be the type of beam your using.
