Could you give me the stats id need to make a constant beam? (If thats possible)

A constant beam would require a rate of fire a few frames less than the duration of the beam, so it starts firing again just before the first beam dissipates. You'd probably want 0 deviation too.

Heya, been refining my battletech ships, which has meant a lot of weapon testing of late, and I just wanted to double check some of my findings.

From what I can see, beamers deal their damage once per frame over a 35 duration, and scatter beams once per frame over a 7 frame duration, is this correct?
If you make it idiot proof, they'll just build a better idiot.

I already know, and I have the data sheet from th15 with the beam durations on already. I just haven't added the durations. ;)

Oh please! We require coherent enlightenment on the beam durations!

And can we use decimal damage? 0.50 damage for instance?

some ppl get confused with railguns.im prety sure they do 15 damage to a sectio then peirce to the next until its out of damage. :idea:

sorry for the double post but for a continuas firing beammer maybe 1 reaload 2000 clip and fire rate of 30 :wink:
