Well, i fixed the problem by making them GIFS, but now i got another.
|Now youve probably heard this question before, but frankly i don't have the toime to search through the forums for the answer.
Here is the problem: there is a yellow box-like effect around my sprites.
How did i get it, and how do i get rid of it?
P.S. i havent changed any defualt settings except shimmer to off

You don't have to search. Just read the documentation.
They either have to 80x80, with 1 pixel black border and black background (black = transparent), or disable glow in EFF tab.

Thank you for the timely response, but I do have another question. It seems the tesla beam doesn't show up. I'm sure you've heard it before, but I can's seem to find anything related to it.Kaelis wrote:Read the documentation.

No fighters?
Way back when, if I typed -1000 in AI range, it MEANT -1000
Now it doesn't. The game treats it as zero. Can someone help? Fighters are kinda my specialty, and if I can't make this work, I'm out.

Is there a limit to the size of the ship you can use in BSF? I'm having alot of problems trying to spawn ships 160kb in size and above, I don't get any error messsages but it just refuses to spawn my big ships at all.

There is no enforced limit on our part, but there is a strict amount of code GM can execute in a single chunk. Larger ships may well exceed this limit and thus be impossible to use. There is absolutely nothing we can do to fix this bug.
Except maybe scrapping features. But that would defeat the point of everything we've worked for so far.

Still, that doesn't mean the ship can't be finished, it just means it can never be used....
Perhaps an update in GM or more optimization in the BSF codes could fix it?
