Can we make a ship slower.

Post by maarten »

Since I figured the triggers out I always wanted to build an artillery ship. It flyes to the right position, deploys and shoots the enemy.
Problem is, you can make a deploying ship but I've no idea how to make a ship that stands still when shooting.
Any Idea's are welcome.

Maarten, I thought about this for awhile and the best conclusion I got. Is that you make a weapon that aquires a ship at a certain range which always seems to stop your ship (for me) and have a trigger system that puts the larger guns online. That should work if not im not sure.
My sig is under attack by commie mods!

A trigger system that rotates an engine block around 180. I think that is about as close as you could get, bar doing it manually in-game.
