what are good color combinations

on my new ship i have reds and oranges ...but what do YOU suggest i color it before I post (i think steel and gray colors are kinda boring....)

Or simply ask it in your existing thread... You know you can keep the grays but use other colors for highlight right? USuually looks better than the whole ship being another color anyway unless its alienish. The brownish color vVorpax uses is pretty awesome.

Use monochromatic, analogous, complimentary, warm/cool, and tetradic color schemes.

Listen to this man, he lays it out straight up.


You might need to look up 'colour theory' and get yourself an image of a colour wheel to best utilize the concepts he mentioned.
