I think I'll make a heavily armored meatshield to distract enemy fire,
then add an umbrella hull to the front, Peitho style.

well i was thinking of making a ballistic missile... but then again i think that would just be weird.

so ill make a support frigate. of some sort

Also, We need ships that require TEAMWORK. What you have, is good. Each ship has a weakness, so we'll need to be prepared.

Actually if that's allowed it might be somewhat effective, wonder if Kamikaze Ai is allowed.

Ok, I currently have a ship that spawns a massive amount of blaster platforms, But I could make a flanking battleship.

here's my plan.
2 small, fast attackers.
1 ship that heals the nearby ships.
1 massive, juggernought.
The rest can do other things.
Some of you'll have to read the help file in game. Press F1 while using ship maker Please!
Make sure your ships work.
We'll test them on each other and I have a few good boss ships for practice.
Please make the deadline.

I think it's relatively important that they arrive simultaneously, or close enough that the first ships aren't chewed up by the time the slower ones arrive. Aegis and deflectors are musts too. I've already made a couple ships, though I suspect they're actually insufficient for this. 100 points really isn't that many, when you look at it, but hopefully the bosses are decently balanced.

I've made two "Test" ships, one for flanking, another for speed of the operation. The ships must work together, And If you send me the file, (possibly through Filemelt.com) I'll test how they work with my current ship.

I'll work a day on revising my best two (one's a tank, the other's a fast, ranged striker) and then give them to you. Of course, there's plenty of time for more revision.

Actually, I think I'll do a third too: a tachyon/booster ship.

Plasma Charges Would Work Very Well For That. :P

Or you could put lancets on a long arm...

Or Tachyons....

i might not have read the original thread close enough but are the weapons on the bosses hidden to competitors atm or is everything already shown?

one last message spam from me before i stop :!: i suggest that when we all finish out vessels, we post them, just to see where we all stand and make possible adjustments as necessary for the task.

if this is already what we are all planning then i apologize for my ignorance.
