Alright, my escort ship is done, it's designed to be something of a shield ship, but if you get past the shield, it dies pretty quickly. It lacks pd and is somewhat slow so it needs help from the rest of the fleet. I tested 1v1 it against daxx's messer mk2 and Comus' Om and Nom and it won(it had a decent amount of trouble against the Nom because it sometimes got behind my ship's shield and did did crazy good damage once there). The ship should be in everyone's inbox, enjoy. Any and all criticism is welcome.

Sent a mock up for my mothership idea to the team as a whole. Will send it in its other forms eventually. Ugly to look at, but its really only to test loadouts. Hope you enjoy the utter over the top it brings, with a touch of balance. HUll wasn't made to be good, just to test loadouts lol.

The ugly duck I sent has proper hp so everyone knows. And is 100 percent legal in its build.

Soo . . . I put the ShadowBot v2.5 and all the escort models so far against a team of the same . . . and some interesting results. Namely, the ShadowBot's lovely 128 damage per step tore through the Nom, then the Om, then two MS' engaged, and then the pirate MS ripped the fast-flanker type escorts (DarkenShroud's) to little tiny bits (Making any of the other team's flanker ships useless . . .)

Also, watching the ShadowBot fight itself gave me some modification ideas.

This is the third time I've asked this and an answer would be welcome. Did everyone or indeed anyone get my escort ship? If so, did you like it? If not, I'll resend it.

LOL relax my friend, I've been using them to test as well as the others. There both efficent, but I like the faster one. They could use some more firepower, but overall there not to shabby.

Haven't seen shadowbot 2.5 so I really can't comment. But anything thats enemy does better and is expected to win. When my ships enemy it pretty much rips through the 2.0 once the flectors go down, or it turns into no deflectored sections. Anything ally mothership is at a loss, so that test really proves nothing in general now that I read Chaos's comments about the 2.5. Sounds better then the 2.0 though mind if I see its greatness lol. Still think my weapon layout ideas are better then the 2.0's 9 properly made ships with adequate points spent to defense will make your mother useless in the long run. 2.5 please? To see if that problem has been remedied? :)

I was also looking into a few fresh ideas for weapon layouts to solve the weaknesses in both our ideas. I will send them once mounted on the weapon test ship I made. But honestly when my ship is pirate, it owns your 2.0..... So really whoevers ship is pirate they have the advantage unless the other ship is that better in its build and make up.

Send some of these new ideas along when you get the chance Chaos sounds nice and promising.

To Bad Boy
Ah yeah sorry lol. Checking it out now, thats the one I haven't looked into.

Edit: Just sent the team a new weapon layout for testing. Make sure to test as pirate to see its full potential. Fairly overwhelming yet still balanced.

On the lookout for a missing team mate. Hey Mjolnir! Check your PM or respond here please. You still intending to be part of this team, because there doesn't seem to be any activity on your part for this tourney?

Reminder - submission date set for motherships to be entered in a few days. Decide now which one we shall use, there all killers so it matters little. You have my choice already, and the testing is already about done. Choose wisely.
