Well, its modules don't really fit very well with the fleet's strategy, and most importantly, it's got high HP sections and is slow, so you're wasting lots of points by making it a frigate. Also, it isn't constructed structurally soundly; for example, it should be able to completely protect itself from the front with it's deflectors (currently, projectiles hit a lot so you'll want to make the frontal armour stick out to the sides more). Basically, switch to battleship class, shuffle things a bit structure wise, and maybe make it more offensively inclined.

Wow, the submission date kinda snuck up on me. I guess we'll just have to submit one ship twice since we haven't made the 8th yet, unless someone whips up something original fast. Anyways, we need to choose a formation. Formation ideas, GO!

I've sent Daxx our 7 escorts (in the most recent version I was PMed or shown in IRC), but if you've made a new version, let me know and I'll resend it. We NEED to choose the ship to use twice, and get a formation. I think either Rotatron or Diamant en Rose would be good to double up, but I don't really have time to make a formation from scratch. Could someone please make a rough start on a formation and PM it to the team so we can each modify it and then choose the best?
