I think a simple 2v2 round robin tourney would be really neat.
People have a total number of points they can spend to make 2 ships that will face other people in a round robin format of best of 3 (or 5)
There are 4 weight classes: light (80 points), medium(150 points), heavy (400 points) and superheavy (1000 points)
It'd be pretty neat, in my opinion.
Also, I think any tournament that gets run should be moved along fairly quickly, ideally about a month from start to finish for the simpler ones. There's no justification for letting one drag on for 3 months.
