But the pirates will be using fairly compact and quick ships.

Also, on your arms, theres a vulnerable structual piece that is very easy to blow off.

I kow all that, but however, this ship turns fairly fast, and it's pulsars can cover a wide range.

The structural piece: I'm still thinking about that one. Might give it a skeleton, and throw away the deflectors. There's too few of them to do any good, anyway.

okay new rules, you may have 1 aegis per 6 sections, and 1 deflector per 3 sections. aegis and deflectos can't be used together.

no, I see ships that are taking the point out of the tournament and usinng unbalanced loopholes in the rules to ruin the tournament by filling it with tiny doom ships. This rule was in AtM as well.

EDIT you can just use section 26 to make large areas deflector'ed.

Nah, you just took the only real point of interest of the tournement out so now its boring and an Team Custom Fleet knockoff with some ATM twist.

Why don't you just balance your Juggernaut to whatever we throw at it?

Oh, and arcane, I think you should make it thinker in the front, because right now the Juggernaut can beat 4 of them and they die really fast.

Boring.

Its only a problem if only one side gets them. Though I guess the way you've horribly gimped Frigate defense options, I guess it would be more balanced this way. Its still boring.

IMHO: The reason why the Aegis rules and deflector XOR aegis thing are in the ATM tourney was because the Mothership can't be at two places at once. This is fleet combat, you can be alot more liberal with defensive options.

well I still need a way to balance ships being covered by deflectors. PS all those ships you made.. they break a rule, no more than 3 weps on one part.

Eh? It only has 3 weapons on one part. It has nine parts and 27 modules

2 Aegis
4 Deflectors
14 Beamers
2 Booster
2 Particle Guns
2 Lancets
1 Nano

= 27

And the way you beat all deflector ships is that they have few sections. They get left at the end and get mobbed.

okay, but still, Id not reccomend making yours like that. It will die really fast once the deflectors go down.

EDIT okay I removed that rule. it is still not wise though to make an all deflector ship.

That's true, I've tested it and its stock armor. They sacrifice endurance for a short burst of invisibility.

-Sections can be resized to only up to 3 times. You can shrink sections but I don't see why you would want to do that.

Also, even better way to calculate section HP:

Core HP/2 = Section HP

But he doesn't say how much you can shrink, only how much you can increase.

It would be nice if you had everything in a tabular form like all the other tournements.
