Are there any bugs with these? Anything you'd like to see?

Oh, snd here's a teaser for the next Scenario. The Nanz have repaired Darren's ship, and given it their own flair...

So his ship is alienating too? Doesn't look too tough at the moment. Maybe 1 more weapon would be nice.

He's only Nagaya's Lieutenant, so he doesn't get das uberships. It's also a player ship in this mission, so I don't want it to be too strong.

And yes, his ship gets alieny too. :D

Side Mission D/2 - Infinity - http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... finity.enc

This is the second half of the pre-Slaughterhouse Combats. This level takes place about a weekish after Endless, and about a week before Slaughterhouse. In order to play it in the timeline, play it directly after Endless, and then move on to Slaughterhouse. Both sides have established lines and bases in various places now, including "offscreen". Darren Christos' ship has been repaired and augmented in much the same way that Nagaya's ship was changed by the Nanz. Hong's fleet has repaired and re-established itself as well. In this half of the mission, you command Darren Christos once more. The promised augmented ships have arrived, and although the Nanz themselves have not showed up yet, your pirate armada shows a marked increase in power. Darren has decided to test their power with an assault wave, and eliminate one of the Terran forward bases, in hopes of gaining an advantage in the day's combat.

~~~
Objectives:
Eliminate all Terran forward bases.
Destroy as many TFHQ ships as possible.
Darren Christos' Alien Ship must survive.
Pirate Battlestation must survive.
If opportunity presents itself, attack and kill Major Hong.
~~~

During Wave 1:

Darren Christos: "The ship is nice... both mine and the fleet in general. I'm rather impressed... didn't think these guys would be worth the hassle Nagaya went through. Alright. Let's hit this forward base, and move on and see if we can't cause some damage today, boys."

Terran Patrol Group C: "Heading Three-Delta-Three, reading... 6 hostiles. Requesting permission to move in to intercept and defend the forward airspace. Hostiles appear to be the Alien/Pirate hybrids we encountered last combat. Use caution. Over and out."

Major Hong: "Read you, and permission granted. Head on in, keep your comms open."

Darren Christos: "Got some scumbags coming in! Clean up here and take 'em out."

After Wave 1:

Major Hong: "Patrol Group C... report in? *he listens to the static, agitated.* "Dammit. Basecamp Omega?" *Again, static.* "..Grr. The base and the patrol... This new breed of pirate... I've underestimated them. Especially with Nagaya's Lieutenant here. ... I have an idea. Get Commodore Mercedes on the horn."

Darren Christos: "Alright. Let's head forward with the momentum we've got. There's another base nearby... we'll hit it next."

Pirates: "Aye, sir!"

Midway during combat with the station:

Commodore Mercedes: "This is Commodore Mercedes, they've taken the bait. I've jumped in behind them and am proceeding to attack."

Darren Christos: "What the hell? They set an ambush! About face! ... And don't be afraid to stay in front of that Peitho, either. Hah. These Sidewinders should come in handy... *At this, Christos looks around. He's apparently trying to see if the pirate in the Gunship still has his Sidewinders, too.* Hmph. Well, let's go."

Upon death of the Peitho and Proteuses, end Wave 2:

Commodore Mercedes: "This is Mercedes... ejecti-... It's not workiiaaaaAAAH!-*static.*"

Major Hong: "..."

Sergeant: "Your.. next move, sir?"

Major Hong: "Send Zeta Squad over. Charge them right in. Theyre too busy to be able to stop a lightning rush at this point. Maybe a change in overall formation will help our chances..."

Wave 3:

Pirate: "Darren! We're under attack! Help us out here! They've flat out charged us!"

Darren Christos: "Wheel around! The base is under attack! .. we need to regroup anyways... pick up reinforcements at the base. ... heh.. Oenones. Let's see how well this Gravity Warp works on beams."

After Wave 3:

Darren Christos: "How's the base?" *He receives an affirmative from the base; they're fine.* Good. Anyone know where they came from?"

Pirate: "Down that way sir, heading Six-Alpha-Seven."

Darren Christos: "Alright. Let's head that way and see what we can find..."

Upon arrival:

Darren Christos: "Ahh... look at that. Another base. This must be the last; when we were fighting before, they only had four construction crews, it looked like... and the 4th would be Hong's base. Well. While we're here, we may as well take this one out, eh?"

Pirate: "This one's got platform coverage too. Won't be as easy. I don't see any ships though?"

Darren Christos: "Keep an eye out this time...fan out the formation."

Pirate: "Yessir."

And sure enough, some Terrans gate in, attempting to surround the pirates:

Pirate: "There they are, sir, Looks like a defensive group. This must've been their first base if it's so well defended."

Darren Christos: "Right on schedule. Have at 'em. Helios... so make use of the lasers, gentlemen. And Charybdis... try not to surround those, for once. They actually work better that way."

After the base and defenders are killed and end wave:

Darren Christos: "That should be the last of their forward bases. All that's left is Hong and his camp."

Nagaya: "Good. I'm sending you a pair of ships... try not to lose them."

Darren Christos: "Excellent timing, King Nagaya. It looks like they're seding another assault wave... though our sensors caught them long before they got here, unlike the Oenones."

Pirate: "Never seen those ones before."

Darren Christos: "Yeah. Tmolus. They're new...ish. Long range. Not so great here, but their Frosch Guns can still knock your systems out of commission for awhile. We've dealt with the others before. Take 'em out, boys, keep 'em from destroying the base."

When the strike force is destroyed:

Darren Christos: "Alright... we're going to regroup and head for the main base. Engage Hong if you see him."

Pirate: "Hell is that?"

Darren Christos: "Never seen that weapons before on a Cronus... looks like some sort of special laser. Keep an eye on it, be careful."

When Hong's core is exposed (i.e. one of the main 4 struts is blown off):

Major Hong: "I'm pulling back! Buy me some time!"

Sergeant: "Aye aye sir, engaging."

Hong retreats; upon destruction of the base:

Darren Christos: "Alright, pull back. We've done enough damage for the day... time to regroup ourselves."

Nagaya: "Excellent work, Darren... I can take over from here. You're being reassigned to another sector. I will take over the assault on Zulu Sector personally."

Darren Christos: "...hmph. Very well, sir."

Mission Accomplished!

~~~
Editor's Note: Since you have to destory Hong's ship to win, just follow the roleplay... RPly, Hong would retreat when his Core is exposed. This gives enough leeway time for his ship to be repaired before the player shows up for Slaughterhouse. The Cronus Elite is a homebrew addition made for Infinity, after seeing how badly the Cronus does in Martyr because it can't use the Flux Projector under AI control. The modded Megabeamer is an orange colored 2 damage, 150 frame duration megabeam, and otherwise is identical to a Megabeam. Hopefully this lets the Cronus be more "dangerous" like it is in player hands with a Flux Projector. The Oenone Alpha's are also homebrewed: I found out that the Lancets were having too much of an effect on the battle than I'd like. Your defeat or victory were almost entirely determined by how well the AI used the Lancets, and I ddin't like that, so I replaced them with the Alphas. They use Tellers instead of Lancets, to keep with the Beam theme. This has been tested and beatable (with some slight difficulty) by me several times, so I know it's quite beatable. I'm much happier with this one than the last one, I was able to keep spawn numbers much more down because TFHQ ships are much stronger in comparison to the pirate ships that I had to spanw in... *hordes*... in Endless.
I've re uploaded every mission to the BSF database, and updated links accordingly. Some missions have been slightly changed... Martyr had its Glorious Hood removed. Endless got tweaked a bit. Doorbell uses the new Normal AI Cherenkov ship.
Doorbell and Infinity will likely be going through some changes soon, I feel Doorbell is a bit too easy. And there's some effects in Infinity that I feel could be better achieved with a full new wave as opposed to a staggered spawn in a single wave. You'll know it when you see it, and you'll probably agree with me that using a new wave is a better idea than staggering the spawn.
EDIT: Updated Infinity with the new layout. Should still be beatable. Added a unique ship for Commodore Mercedes, complete with her own special rocket Launcher.
Those of you wondering how to download: Right click the links, and do "Save Target As/Save Link As", and when you save the file, append .enc onto the filename. So it should save as SMA Doorbell.enc, or whatever. Then, when yu save it, it will be saved as an .enc file, and can be loaded and played like normal. I assume the current setup is a bug on th15's part, and this is a workaround that will let you download and play.
Redone Doorbell probably coming soon.
Next scenario will be SME - Mausoleum. You'll be the Nanz once more, and be responsible for maknig the Graveyard you see in the mission of the same name.
Side Mission E - Mausoleum - http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... soleum.enc
This mission takes place slightly before (say a few days or so: Perhaps during the end of Slaughterhouse. I presume it takes the Commodore, and Major Hong, a bit of time to regroup, and assemble, and actually GET to the Vega XIII Asteroid Belt) Graveyard. In order to play it in the timeline, play Slaughterhouse, then play Mausoleum, then Graveyard. In this mission, you play the part of our friend the Nanz Sacred Warder. He has been charged with maintaining control of the Vega belt so the Conversion Bomb can be transported through the area. The Sacred Warder, having gained much glory for the defeat of Admiral Cherenkov, has been granted a wider selection of ships. Or heavier, at least. The guarding of the Vega XIII Asteroid Belt has thus far been routine, outside of the odd meteor shower that flows through the area. But, as usual for routine patrols and guard duty, things are about to get a little more... interesting.
~~~

Objectives:
Eliminate the 1st Flotilla to keep the transport route safe.
Sacred Warder's ship must survive.

~~~
Pre-Wave 1:
Sacred Warder: "The area is... in danger. Ready for attack... the interlopers are coming. Remember... use the Gravitics. There are... plenty of meteors... to use."
Flotilla Commander Marcus Presley: "Marcus Presley reporting... nothing yet. I'm surprised the guard isn't heavier. Isn't this where their superweapon or whatever is supposed to be?"
Captain: "Something like that. Keep looking, I guess. I'm sure we'll know it when we see it."
Sacred Warder: "Wait for them to... come into range. Then... attack."
Captain: "Dammit..! Commander! We're under attack! Hostile Alien forces to starboard and port!"
Marcus Presley: "Turn the fleet around and support the vanguard, as soon as possible."
By the time the rest of the Terrans begin to arrive, however, the vanguard is decimated"
Marcus Presley: "God's sake... Send out the area denial team. They usually travel in packs."
Captain: "Aye aye sir, dispatching Moira and Helios team now, and adding appropriate escort."
Marcus Presley: "Mm-hmm."
Sacred Warder: "They are... nothing. Eliminate them."
And true to his word, the Terrans are slain, many of the larger ships begin drifting around, derelict and disabled, but not fully destroyed:
Marcus Presley: "Who's that moving in?"
Captain: "One of the other Captains, sir. He's taking his Cronus Elite in the fight, and it looks like the Arcas Carrier is going to back him up."
Marcus Presley: "That leaves us with the Eos Prototype. And the Aedon. Damn. We got cut down fast..."
Captain: "And retreat isn't an option... well, not in this hulk."
Marcus Presley: "I'm aware, considering I helped design it. It's not made for retreating. Monitor the situation and be ready for combat. Hopefully the Nihon weren't just talking out their ass when they said the Eos was good."
Sacred Warder: "Their... beast ship... moves in. Cronus... Arcas... be wary of the titans."
When the Cronus and the Arcas have been disposed of:
Sacred Warder: "You are... few. We are... many. Come to your deaths... if you wish."
Marcus Presley: "Grrr... Move in. We can handle this..."
Captain: "Aye sir. ... hopefully."
Sacred Warder: "You breathe... your last."
When the Eos is destroyed:
Captain: "Augh... Nihon is going to be pissed. Damn thing was expensive..."
When Marcus Presley's Ship is destroyed:
Marcus Presley: "Pleasure serving alongside you all. My only regret is that I could not lead you to final victory..." *And his ship explodes gloriously, spreading debris everywhere.*
Most of the smaller patrol craft are outright incinerated and destroyed by the Alien's weapons. Presley's ship, and the Eos, are also reduced to scrap. Many of the other ships however, including the Moiras, the Hestias, and the other two battleships, float around the Belt, relatively intact, as far as being "Destroyed" goes. And so the Sacred Warder, content with repelling the attack, returns to his starbase to order the transport of the Conversion Bomb.
Mission Accomplished!
Editor's Note: Yeah, the Hesperos isn't entirely canon, but the name fits the scheme better than Flyer or Glorious Hood. It seems reasonable it could have been designed for a specific high up in the fleet. Makes a good boss ship in any rate, though I altered the weapons because in my tests, the 6 shot Railgun was just overpowering. The Eos really doesn't say WHEN it was developed, just that it's rather new, so I refer to the one in this scenario as a prototype. Reasonably, by destroying this one, it delays development until you (the normal Terran player) can access it yourself in campaign. This scenario is relatively short because there's only 7 ships in Graveyard. I stretched it a bit by adding smaller ships but ultimately this was just destined to be a short encounter. No biggie, I feel it's still fun and challenging, and I tried to offer a map with meteors for the first time, and gave you a ship with a special gravbeam so you can fling rocks around. I tried to give you a predominantly different fleet this time around, than in Martyr, so you could play with some different ships...
Also, I've updated every single other scenario to include the new and updated ships in the Official Ship Pack. You'll want to snag every scenario over again. Some scenarios also underwent minor changes.
I have one more mission in the works, but I'm split on whether or not I should kill Darren Christos and/or the Sacred Warder or not. After this one though, I don't have much left that I can do until TH15 gives us more official missions. I have a standby idea to do, but since we don't know what happens after you run away, I'm not sure if it will be canon. But it will certainly be fun.
