Yeah. Good luck Delta.

Hey 'munky, did you take into consideration that we have only 2 pulsar ships? ...

:(

EDIT:
Well, I still have advice to give.

The fleet has dropped almost all its projectile weaponry now; a tach-whore might be really effective in absolute terms but it's going to have the Mothership's entire PD working against it, since it hasn't got anything else to worry about.
You're better off replacing those tachs with as many beams as you can fit onto the ship (preferably all of one type).

You might want to double check the Aegis legality, too. I can't find where your core is (it could be in one of two places covered by the megatach) so a sb3 would be nice. I imagine that a point breakdown will be required if you don't submit a sb3 in any case.

Finally, if you're not going to drop the tachs, then we may as well use the Squair Fonte in its previous incarnation (not that I approve, because it's just a waste given all the PD the mothership has not to go all out in either one direction or the other).

Daxx, I am never going to drop the tachyons, its a good enough ship aleready and with the sheer amount of tachyons, its pretty effective.Oh, and the core is under the mega tach.

You will be ineffective, completely. My ship is designed to work well with the rest of Delta; yours will not because it will simply absorb all the Mothership's PD and not deal any damage. That's why the Squair Fonte shifted to beam weapons as well. The only remaining projectiles in the fleet are on the V-AM. Your ship is also fragile, and Delta doesn't have a dedicated tank.

Also, where under the megatach is the core? It's obviously under there, but under which bit?

I understand that you signed up before me and by the rules of the tournament you are entitled to enter your ship along with the rest of the team, and I am quite willing to live with that because as the only reserve player with any ships posted I'll probably get to see my ships fight anyway. Nevertheless, I feel quite attached to Delta and don't want to see them lose and that's why I'm advising you. Hey, if you don't want to listen to me it's your funeral.

Then you might want to make it so that the Aegis sections can't be blown off so easily. Parenting front Aegis shields to sections that are exposed from the front is not a good idea. Refer to our Marble of doom if you want an example of fixing that fatal flaw.

parakeet, we don't need another battleship, we have plenty of those. We really need a good fast frigate for flanking attacks.Mining beam laden would be prefered if you don't mind. :D The Father Tachyon is unnecessary and a subpar example of a battleship. Don't take that the wrong way, I am sure you can do better.

So are we taking the stormwall? If not, then anty and parakeet are going to have to put it in turbogear to get these ships optimzed with the rest of Delta. They may be powerful on their own, but we are a team, not a gathering of mercenaries.

I'm sure you could spare 4 points from turning to sink into PD.

No, its really not necessary, that ship is much better. At most you can put 1 particle gun or laser, just to destroy rorshach, but other wise its fine. Post an SB3 so we can check out the details and make sure its under the points limit.
EDIT: Also looking at it closely it doesn't follow the 2 weapon/module per section rule. It's easily fixed. It looks like only 2 mining beams extra, and the other 2 mining beams can be placed on the core to become legal.

So We can use Teh Burninator in place of the Stormwall, and still use Daxx's ship if AllStarz doesn't show. The Howitzer is okay, other than the fact that on our test mothership all the firepower is eaten up. Maybe instead of more beams, the Howitzer tries Railguns. Though they are still projectiles, they are fast enough to get by Flak and Particles. Not to mention that with enough Rail Guns it is possible to obliterate deflectored sections, something which beams just can't do.

Its really quite good, but you don't need a turning of 2 against a single ship. Infact, 1-1.5 is usually good. What you do need is defense from demeters, missile, and the ability to kill Rorshachs.
