AtM 2 - Team DELTA: IMPORTANT NEW STUFF

I think there was a request for more flankers so I came up with a frigate designed to get in close and move around to the sides/back. It can outflank a larger and slower ship and deliver a lot of damage but I find that this design does leave a lot to chance.
I hope the aegis is legal. The ship has 12 sections so I've got that part covered. It does great against stuff like scatter beams and blasters but tachyons can eat it up pretty bad if it gets hit by too many.
I'd still like Rebellion's Blade to be my first choice but once the data base gets back up you guys can test my ships out and let me know what would be best for the team. :3

Have decided to make a new design. so far has 12 sections, and all sections at 200 hp. (battleship). wondering if there are any defencive problems with it, and what to fit it with(guessing 2 deflectors). 6 points spent on this hull.
also would i be allowed to put 3 frak cannons on 1 section(over 2 sections)to make the defences tighter, and 4 flaks do not provide enough cover, and a ship of this size needs 6. i would not put any more of them elsewhere, so if the sections go, i have almost no pd.( the 2 round ones at the front)
edit: added speed(0.5), turning(0.8), and accelection(0.05) for 20 points.
also added 4 sections to help parenting(back grey was connected to front ones), and hold the point beams.
total cost so far 32 points.

Hey, I like that hull design a lot better. My advice would be to use 4 deflectors and add a few more sections to mount weapons because of the "two per section" rule. Remember that part of the advantage of battleships are that sections and HP are cheap so 12 sections isn't too much for a battleship. have finished hull, cost 42 points. 13 went on section hp upgrades.
next issue is defencive stuff. if i put 6 flak cannons(see main tourny threat) and 4 deflectors, along with the 2 point beams, that alone will cost 32 points (too high)
wondering what people think. and Zancloufer, that ship looks good, but not sure about the gap in aegis shields

Funny tac producer, with lancets. Kinda fragile due to it being a frigate, but has a 1000 hp aegis section on the front. Uses the new updated rules, and is legit by the standard set by the one aegis design I have previously submitted. Not all that bad, but not all that great. It can be improved, feel free to do so heres the link.

Link to one of my ideas, I decided to go with my teamates ideas for now instead of my own. Semi close tac user, decent Aegis protection and flak. Not the best, but its a start. I'm probably going with a differnt idea, but if you like this let me know for now. Could also go with a one aegis version of this, switch around a few things, and add more firepower if needed. Again I have better ideas, but I just wanted to see if this was good enough for starts.

It's main purpose is to get in close and intercept as much of the enemy's fire power as possible. The thing is I don't think it would really be of much use if the mother ship has a dieterling device because then it would probably just spend it's time going back and forth trying to chase the mother ship down.
