I'm waiting for a slight bit more functionality (force movement) and I'll start making my campaign. I've got the ships for the first two or three levels designed already.

don't forget target priority and defeat conditions. Its really had to make a decent defend the station mission when you can't make the player lose when it does go boom.

is there a way to make a ship explode after a set amount of time. And is there a way to trace a course for specific ships to follow. I want to make a mission where a ship is hijacked and detonated near a station, but I want it to be a friendly ship and I want it to fly in, prepare to dock at the station, then explode damaging everything around it.

well it shouldn't be too hard to set it to trace a path (lancet beams already do it) and I think there is already a timer to make a ship jump out at a specified point. you should be able to swap "jump" with "Explode"

well, I'm trying to add some sort of messaging system but I don't intend to do full triggers and everything. Instead I'll just allow you to import GML code into the mission to let you do your own scripting. So, umm you need to go learn GML :)

Could we have some form of box, into which we can put a list of ships, and the wave they will be entering at. And then have them enter from random points around the map?
