Suggestions? I wish the ship databse would work already.

Use mediafire or another file host?

I like your design, but I really can't comment on it till I try it out with accuracy. I really don't really see defense ships doing much good against the big Mother. Unless there made especially to stay grouped with the slower ships and protect them. Even then though I like your lancets on there better. Maybe go half flak and half point beam, then twin lancets if you wanna go heavy defense. That way you know your gonna make a differce protection wise, but still have the capacity to hurt the mother with lancet fire?

Slow Death

Starts with the other pummelers, but goes ahead once in contact with the Mother. Has nice hp sections, and massive firepower. Should last for more then one barrage.

Early Grave

Image

Follows Natch's ship in, Natch's ship gets the mothers attention. Early grave pounds the mother while distracted with Mega's.

Final Goose

Goose stays away, distracts the mothers PD and pummels her from afar.

Pics speak for themselves. Upto the team which I will use and do a final refinement of. I think they all have something to bring to our teams strategy so far. If all the team members could post and let me know which to go with, I would greatly appreciate it.

Bump for final ship submissions, and a request for team feedback.

Not for awhile, I'm just trying to get my ship narrowed down to one. I'm just leaving it up to you all which you feel would serve the team best. So please comment which you feel I should use, once you test them out.

Been meaning to upload this: http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... Heaven.shp

Image

Each of the forward pieces have 950 HP and the 2 rear have 700.

I'm satisfied with it's results, but I want everyone to give me some last c/c on it before I finally submit.

KK no probs, I'll switch it to flanking if I already haven't.

Do Lancets have infinite range?

If they do, I might phase out some pulsars on the Bringer of Dawn for some Lancets.

Okay, no need to have that much core HP. Bring it down to default.
Also, lower the AI range to 900 or so.
3rd, give it more accl, more turning, and more speed
Next, put soome big shield pieces on the front, and add two deflectors to the ship. Preferrably on some extra pieces in the back.

Now we have a good ship.

Lancets are the same as missles, about 1000 range.

Early grave with flanking, and a slight AI range change.

Fallen Light Mk6

http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... ht_Mk6.shp

-Took off Gluons
-Replaced particle guns with Point Beams
-Replaced 6 mining beams with scatterbeams

These things can rip through the MS like knives and butter. They also seem to have found the perfect ration of PD for stopping all the shots without wasting points, and basically take MAX of 100 combined damage. For 8 ships. Not to mention being able to exploit holes in deflector shield placement that mining beams wouldn't hit, and having longer range while still parking itself squarely in the center of the MS' aegis arms and blowing them out from the inside. Me happy. :D

Alos, I may replace still more particle guns with PB in Mk 8. A 50/50 mix of PB and Flak seems most effective, and adding PG to the mix decreases efficiency. Having a lot of one type of PD seems to be the way to go, interestingly enough.

KX-06A Spirit of Heaven:

Designed with the help of Bravo Team, this craft is the Federation of Free Colonies' representative in the Assault on the Alien Mothership.

Okay, I'm happy with it. If you guys think it needs anymore improvements, let me know.
