Cut accel in half or by 3/4 and add another pulsar / gosling / whatever

I doubt that it can get any better than this, except for a total refit of the hull.

The only real differences between the other KX-06A are the 2 pulsars on the forward section and a reduction of sectional HP.

Kalanosis: My suggestion? Lower it's AI range. at anything past 600, pulsars start missing a LOT because of the delay.

HBP Slasher Mk II, 100% completed.

I've changed the firing arcs of all weapons so that they fire correctly, and no longer perform the "OMFG! AEGIS!! SHOOT IT!!!" act (or at least, they do it less :P ).

A group of 8 can easily beat the AtM_2_Sim_FlankAI mothership. Battle goes like so:

[Mothership]: Super Aegis Nose!
[Slashers - Chorus] OM NOM NOM
*Mothership's central Aegis explodes*
*Mothership goes into hull shock*
[Slashers] *Beams*
*Mothership's core armor explodes*
[Slashers] *Beams*
*Mothership's HP decreases by ~200HP per second, until it explodes*

Flanking ai. You don't want to sit in front of the MS for long, especially with deflectors.

Flanking AI is a MUST for ALL tournament ships. You don't want your ship to become a sitting duck, do you?

That, and as a little hint, you really really really do NOT want to be out in front of the ms for long. Heh, take this as a tiny hint for everybody - you will not win a frontal assault against the MS (unless your entire front is aegis'ed... or you're the cuddlefish... but weasel guns were made for a reason ;))

I noticed that a lot in my recent tests, I just haven't had time to update the upload yet.

Just a small notice to anyone who hasn't read the 1st page of this thread recently, I have been adding people's ships and downloads as they become available/ known, so there isn't any need to go hunting for Team Beta's ships. The first page also contains some info on the Mothership. :wink:

EDIT: If the Mothership has as many flaks as the Sim, it might be a good idea for some of the pulsar ships to switch to a different weapon.
