Nah, its 360 degree weapons and jumping. I made one that was just high ROT and armed with Beamers(they synchronized with the dieterling quite well).

Well thats just what I was doing with fast turning frigates.
The 360 degree weapon actually didnt occur to me since I found fast turning first. But meh, all the 360 weapons are interceptible anyway.

the link is in the database, press ctrl+f and type alien mothership.
be warned, it has a lot of mega tachyons.

hello everyone. just wondering of i could bend the rules a little, by putting 3 flaks on 2 sections of this ship
only want to put 3 on each of the rounded bits at the front. the only other pieces of pd would be 2 point beams placed deep in the hull.(p.s.have added to design since the picture was taken, but not enough to upload the improvements.
edit: also, what is the cost of thrusters? they are not mentoned on the point sheet
responding to post below:- or maybe limit the amount of sections with 3 weapons/modules to 2 for frigates/4 for cruisers and 6 for battleships (cause battleships are bigger then cruisers, and they are bigger then frigates) can't go on with building until someone says yes.

Yeah I will have to second that request, I would like infinity to raise the two per section rule to three like Cmd Prompt did? PLEASE LOL
Would help frigate designs alot, and would make them a more viable choice for starts. They suck as the rule stands, and at best are only half effective.

Maybe some of the smaller weapons could be 3 per section or certain selected weapons and modules.
I wouldn't have a problem with flak cannons being allowed at 3 per section.

Eitherway, just for frigates or all the way across the board. We do need abit of a boost all around from what I have noticed.
Make it 3 weapons and modules per section Infinity?
