You need to use the Mortal Kombat theme for Delta dude... you just do along with a 'Finish Him' and 'Fatality' somewhere. That will be the most epic fight. No lancets.

All hail Natch's ship!

I thought we requested that natch start off in front then I follow his lead? Natch's ship was supposed to distract the mother, but instead there was a differnt ship that started of closer to the mother. Eitherway good battle and movie Endless, just wish we had resent that natch's ship was to be in front to distract. In the battles against the other teams, please place natch's ship in front then mine following it. Like we requested please, if possible? Again thanks awsome video.

Afterthought : Yeah if Natch's ship started in front, the mother would have been distracted the whole time, and allowed us to conquer it or do much better. Please place our fleet as requested in our thread, against the other teams. Natch's ship to start, then mine follows. Then the rest of our team. The results would have been much differnt. See my fight in Cmd Prompts tourney for a exaple if ya need it. We did request this formation, though not sure you seen that request Endless?

That was pretty cool, though Beta were lucky to get away with a draw on that one... I wonder if they'll last through the ship vs. ship phases.

If he sets our fleet to how we requested. Then we should do fine. Read my post above please ENDLESS

FLEET SHOULD HAVE NATCH'S SHIP IN FRONT THEN MINE FOLLOWS THEN THE REST OF OUR TEAM.

Thats how we requested it, I hope against the other teams that will be so.

Our team behind us My shipfollows Natch's ship in front

:-\

Natch and your ship got there first. I think the mothership locked onto Kenshin's gigantic turd anyways.

*shakes his head* It doesn't matter who gets there first, it matters who starts closer to the mother. The mother will lock on to the closest ship to her, then chase that ship till destroyed. See my cmd prompt video fight to see a example. So I would like our teams start to be correct when we face the other teams. endless see above please.

We requested a fleet set up, I would like to see that set up used please? :D

I wouldn't mind seeing a do-over of your fleet(one of oyur ships got roadkilled by the MS) but I don't think it'll make too much of a difference.

We asked TH15 about how the targetting algorithm worked and he stated what our later testing supported. The enemy ships, calculate initial targetting using a combination of threat circle and distance. Its only after they've been hullshocked or the initial target is destroyed will they try and find other targets(Flanking) or select a different target to Beeline for(Normal).

I think Kenshin's ship has the largest threat circle out of all our boats.

Bummer. Beta got a tie...

I thought it was gonna win, but I guess fleet placement does count now...>.<

I firmly believe that result is skewed, and that our match should be redone with my ship in front. We specifically asked for that fleet placement, and it didn't happen. Therefore, the match isn't valid, and should be redone with correct fleet placement.

Sorry for being forceful, but as you can see, my ship wouldn't've died against the mothership, and would've kept it's attention for the entire time. I mean, I saw my ship right on top on the mothership in the thick of fire at times, and it came out all right.

So I'm that's why I'm demanding a re-do with correct fleet placement.

I'm not so sure about that though. I'm all for a far tournament so if I'm wrong about this then I apologize but when I look at the radar in the upper right hand corner at the beginning of the video I see a ship that is second to the bottom that seems to be slightly out ahead of the rest. Isn't that Natch's ship?

Image
(the green dots on the radar are original to the image, the white dots I added myself)

Like I said I'm not sure but I'd hate for EndlessInfinity to catch any flak if he actually did do it right. Image

Or is that radar shot taken just after the ships began moving? I think we should wait and see what EndlessInfinity has to say. I'm sure he wants to be fair too.

That was after they started moving.

Also, if my ship HAD been the furthest out, the mothership would've targeted it first. But it didn't. Ergo, my ship was not the furthest out.

Are you sure about that, considering it's so small? It must have a tiny threat circle.

I just ran the test. It did pick Natch's ship first but then it started shooting at all the other ships. They won with 4 ships. Maybe it did matter. I guess it goes for whatever is closest on flanking.

Ok last time I will say this. Natch's ship was not the closest to the mother from the start period. If he was then the mother would have immediately gone after his ship again period. If you need proof look to my cmd prompt tourney video and see how it goes down vs kenshin's fleet. Nough said, I'm with Natch on this one, we deserve a redo since our fleet WAS NOT placed right. Any arguement to how I explain things is not correct. See my cmd prompt tourney video if you seek proof. Sorry for being so forceful with my opinon, but we did alot of hard work and waited along time to see our fleet in action. Only to have it screwed over by a placement mistake. Endless I understand all the hard work you've put into this. But could you please redo our battle with the proper fleet placement. Thanks. And to avoid confusion natch's ship starts in the middle of our fleet in the front as we requested. IN FRONT, not along side. Then one ship lenth behind natch is my ship. Then one ship lenth behind mine is the rest of our fleet. Not sure if we explained ourselves enough, but if not here ya go lol. Sorry to rant, but big mistakes usually lead to that right lol. I appreciate all the hard work you've done thank you again. Please redo with the proper set up for our fleet.

the rest of our fleet........my ship..........natch's ship

This is how it should look.

LOL someone needs to watch my cmd prompt tourney video vs kenshin again :D

Of course it would have mattered, look at my video. I based our fleet placement off my idea of one ship in front to distract the whole time. I know what I'm talking about, and am not wrong. Antisocial just confirmed this *looks above to the quote* A ship who starts off in front in the middle will always be targeted by the opposing fleet until destroyed. The reason is the max range change I believe, because ships always have track of the closest ship starting to them once the AI is set or the range. Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda :D

With this set up you are guaranteed to distract, until your decoy is destroyed. Yes I know I plan shady. But whatever works right?

Any questions as to the exact set up endless, just pm me or natch. Examples above. Thanks for your time, and great tourney again you rock. Maybe it was that late night bottle :?:  See what you guys do to the poor fella!!!!!!!! JK

I should be clear, it picked Natch's ship first but then attacked everyone else.
