I'm impressed - I've been running tests with mixes of all the groups' ships, and the results have been very close, so I'm interested to see how it'll all turn out...

The picture is about right, there is one less gat pulse, and that's about it.

Type: Frigate
Core: 380 (300+8pts)
Sections: 6 (12 pts)
Speed: 7.6 (40pts)
Turning: 2 (10pts)
Accel: .2 (4pts)
Weapons: 11 Gat Pulse (22pts) (all at default angle of 90)
Section +hp: 900 (6pts)

Total: 100
This will probably function as my ship, and I was wondering if anyone in Gamma who does not submit a ship could have this subbed in for theirs.

As far as I can tell, these are the most up to date ships for team alpha(updated front page).

Not quite possible - you missed an update I think on how to setup your team's ships.

I reserve the right to place my mothership where I please on my half in response to your choices. Please post either a screenshoot or a clear diagram on your respective site as to your formation.

Not unless you have a more updated version.

Ok then. I won't need to submit Aphelion again. Thanks a lot, 'munky.

I think that we're allowed to have the encounter at 180 degree surround. If not, what is it?

Around 90 degrees (possibly less depending on positioning). Since you can't place closer to the Mothership than halfway across the map, the Mothership's ideal positioning would be as far away from the semicircle as possible to escape being surrounded and to minimise the degree to which it is flanked initially.

What, you didn't think the Mothership was going to be deployed dead centre and easy prey, did you?
