The blasters will be interecepted by the enemy I feel, there not good unless theres enough used. So either go all gat blasters, or all beam type weapons. But eitherway you need more firepower. So drop a few flectors and sections.

Very nice.......exactly what I was talking about. Greater firepower that flak cannot stop, and still has good defense.

Back up your AI range to 450 or 500, I feel that the mothership will be up close. And your Mining beams will still fire, because of its large size.

Can we have people's roles posted in the front page?

Also, I think brawlers should focus on surviving as long as possible, while pulsar whores only need minimal armor and maximum damage.

Thanks for being so understanding guys... It really... :cry: ... it really warms my heart... :)

Anyway, I notice Squishy has bumped my thread about Fireborn's second tournament. There's only one non-Dieterling fight I haven't finished running and posted yet, and that's the Stalker (by Carcer) vs the Uranium (by Xeres-17). That fight was pretty much a stalemate, so I'll have to use the testing system I used for the Ofusaction III vs the Big Armoured Turd. However, the Uranium's beamers had illegal firing arcs (360) at the time, which, while they wouldn't have made any difference against single targets, might make a difference against encircling enemies... Xeres has since fixed it though, and I reckon it's high time I tied up that loose end... :)

I tried out the HBP Slasher, and it kicked the Pummelers overweight rear plating. Definately going with it now. :P

Remove the two back sections, take off 3 points from turning. Add 2 to accel, then add the other 3 to speed? That way she keeps up with the rest of us, and has better mobility to dodge lancets and such?

Would end up, .56 turning, .03 accel, 10 sections, and .70 speed. Much faster, and not at the expense of much turning.

If ya drop one point to turning and speed, you can add two more mining beams to your very front middle section? Or if ya drop 2 speed and turning each, you can add two up front and one on each of its outer wing sections to go along with the other. More firepower, but not at the expense of to much mobility.

New Mother Goose design, how it was intended to be made. Just couldn't figure out how to do it with this format till now. Much easier and much more deadly in Cmd Prompts or Sponges formats. But this model does extremely well, and works as the idea was intended to by myself. Stay away, move fast, and shoot Goslings. Good survivable frigate design, and extremely effective at what it does.

I'm working on a platform faber idea, to just spawn mad platforms all over the screen. Using a frigate design like the new mothergoose. Think thats a good idea? Stay away and spawn mad targets for the Big Mother? Maybe throw on a few goslings as well lol, move nice and fast. Confuse and distract the hell out of her with goslings and platforms. While you all beat her down severly. Just thinkin shady as usual, I'll post it when I'm done. Tried it already with impeder fabers, you need to be alittle close till they actually go off with them. Not sure about platforms yet. Using 4800 sandbox and 9999 range.

My platform idea, I still need to adjust the AI, and placement however.

So far though, I like my new Mothergoose the best. Its what I may go with, unless something else comes to mind thats more effective.
