Finally, here comes the latest submission from Master Chief...
My apologies for taking this long to get my ship ready, I've been rather tied up with other commitments. But all's well now. So go get that thing to cook something.
EDIT: 8 of them can take on the Alien Mothership 2 and win, but not without great difficulty. 3 ships get destroyed, and the remaining five suffer moderate to heavy damage. So perhaps I shall have to tweak the ship.

Many apologies, guys! The files are broken, apparently something screwed up on the way. I'm updating the entire ship to Mark II in a couple of minutes.
EDIT: Well, here goes.

Far more compact than the Mk I version, the new and improved Heliotrope is considerably faster, packs a nastier punch, and also kicks greater ass for its small size. The two deflectors are meant to be used interchangeably, shielding the section 26 in front one at a time - one finishes its energy, the other takes over. The rear is incredibly vulnerable, though it will not be of concern in this tournament, I think.
Weak against:
Demeters
Weasels (if they can somehow hit the rear)
Sidewinders (same comment as the Weasels)
Tachyons (if they can get there)
Railguns (skipping through the section 26 frontal shield - dangerous)
Plasma (small size = greater impact = disadvantage)

Alrighty, looks good.
So railguns do pierce aegis and deflector huh?
perhaps we should make some form of railgun spam then? also, what with your four point beams, demeters and tachyons shouldn't be too much of a problem (few bosses have demeters anyway)
also, the odds of sidewinders really being common enough to matter are probably (very likely) infentesimal, so that shouldn't be too much of a worry.

and it seems like we (want/)need: Deflector/Aegis pwnage, and some form of support ship
