If you mean it followed natch's and turned with it, but its side facing and rear facing weapons still targeted everyone else then yep your right. But with natch's ship starting in front, it should have faced and followed natch's ship the entire time. No matter what happened after the start. As long as natch's ship starts in front of the rest, it will follow it and attempt to face it the entire time. Proof is in my cmd prompt video again, the distance doesn't matter as to the other ships. The MS will still follow natch's ship and attempt to face it period lol the entire time. As did kenshins entire fleet, as they followed my decoy the entire time no matter the distance to the rest of my fleet......video = proof

Start natch's ship in front and this will continue to happen......ENDLESS please read the posts before this, there very important. Thanks
Dude, no, it followed it a little bit and then turned on the rest of your fleet. Kenshin's ships followed your ship because they have normal AI. You have your team's ships, you have the mothership - test thsi stuff yourself.
Seems to work with the old flanking mothership. Maybe I should download the new one Eitherway there was a fleet placement mistake in our battle, and we can speculate till we turn blue in the face the results if our team had been set up properly. If Endless can redo the battle with the set up we requested in the first place great, then we'll see the final results as they will occur. Great debating with ya anti as always though, seriously
The rest of team beta ......DarkenShroud in the front middle........Natch in the front center
This is what we requested, if ya can sorry for the hassle redo our battle.
Nough said....
If it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it

I scanned through beta's page, through the mothership page until page 8 (when natch joined beta), and my old PM's and I didn't see any mention of how you wanted your fleet set up. When I've got every team's battle done, I'll try to do a rematch for you guys, but I'm kind of inclined to stick with my original ruling, unless you can toss me a link. As it stands, I think alpha was the only team to request a formation in any event (though I need to dig through delta's page again to make sure). Thanks for your understanding, and sorry this is taking so damn long - all my profs decided the last two weeks of classes were going to be packed with assignments.
Idea for fleet placement- Natch up front, followed by the slower pummelers. The other close range DPS ships next with better speed, in the rear the Mothergoose 2. Who will overtake all ships, but Natch's and fire her volley of Goslings to keep the big Mother's flak distracted. Natch distracts the Mother, I distract her pd with gosling fire. The rest pummel her to death.
First quote I found regarding it, from DarkenShroud, in the Beta thread page 8. Since it is the only one, that's what we'll abide by. Any after this would only be variations on the theme, and this was what I thought we were suing all along.
Just a FYI - I had an encounter setup for Beta (not DS's nor EI's setup, but still in a vertical line), and I just put in the real Mothership2. I moved the MS2 around to try to find a position where it could win and I could not find one. Beta fleet beat the MS2 10 times out of 10 matches, so I think they have a very valid point, the starting position is critical. I also reproduced EI's setup, and only had time for one run - result was a stalemate as EI had found.

very well - with that in mind, I'll do a re-run for beta at some point.
