Hmm- nice, but I'd probably swap a couple gats for two more deflectors, and possibly drop the speed a little for a little more armor. With the difference in acceleration and speed you're already going to be going elliptical around the thing, and getting up to that max speed is going to be all but impossible anyways- I think you'll be trying to chase the Deiterling too much as the ship bounces around.
You can only have max 1 deflector per 3 (2?) sections.
My ship can take 9 volleys of 40 GatPulses at about 200 range.
A broadsiding Athena can take only 2.
A Leviathan takes about 30 (I lost count), but then again the main core is surrounded by Aegis, which was what took the majority of the shots.
The only weaknesses my ship has are Lancets and Railguns. All other weapons have literally no effect on it.
The design is still undergoing tweaking and therefore, still proprietary.
EDIT:
Here I have a sharpened and despeckled image of the mothership. I've blued out areas I believe are the scaffolding.

It looks like the ship is slightly lacking in high-DPS weaponry. However, it has much 'wearing-down' weaponry (Goslings, MegaTachs, Missiles), leading me to believe that it will choose to stay at long range, battering us down.

I mostly agree with you in terms of the ship, although I think there's a bit more scaffold than is highlighted. If you're right on this thing's standoff strategy, we'll be in for an interesting fight. If it focuses on the SCC and executes high speed maneuvers the artillery won't be of much use. However if the ship focuses on others in our team I should be able to make good on the opportunity.
After some consideration I think I will look for the means to place Lancets on the SCC.

@Team:
Well StormCaller, the range of Tachyons, which appear to be the ship's main weaponry (along with Railguns) have a max range of 600, so Pounding it with artillery wouldn't be too bad an idea, so long as you have frontal support. However, it appears that not too many weapons/modules are lined up in the ship, meaning that you couldn't really get too far with Lancets.
@EndlessInfinity:
Well, I'm trying to get the AI range just right, so that it will be constantly firing, but outside the range of Tachyons. That and I'm too lazy to take a screenshot. I'll probably be done with it (completely tweaked) tomorrow.

The artillery thing is mostly because the ship's already been described as faster than most of our ships- which suggests to me this thing will, along with the Deiterling, be moving quickly, jumping in close to enemies to scatter them, and moving again. That will make Goslings and similar slow-fire weapons useless.
The Lancets I'm not worried about getting large chunks of the ship's weaponry with each shot- I'm just thinking that it would be a useful way to improve our odds as the fight wore on. I don't know if trading firepower for it is going to work out, or if we'd be better served with more guns ripping sections off.

I believe the limit is two weapons or modules per segment, a maximum of one (?) aegis and the ship needs to be judged before admittance. Hope that doesn't ruin your day :).
On the subject of my ship, I'm going to try to get a carrier-rusher together. After discussing it a bit in the chat, demeters seemed to be the best solution to diverting deflectors away from where they're going to be annoying - not to mention moving point defence away for a few precious seconds. It'll be a fighter-style with high speed and low acceleration, hopefuly just sliding past the mothership without any major harm done to it.
And does anyone have a nano-matrix hooked up yet ? It'd be nice to have a couple larger ships equipped with one.

Derekiv, yah, it's 2 per section, and the comments on aegis rules are correct.
Jaffa - just a couple quick suggestions. People's estimates on the MS's railgun capacity are fairly accurate, and even with deflectors, your core will get roasted REALLY quickly, just because it's so close to the front. You might also want to move the deflectors to the back, just because my experience has taught me that with the way the ships like to angle themselves, sections in that position tend to die really quickly.
