Corsair Series Type A (Assault), "Corsair" (Type D)

The Type A is the standard pattern Pirate Corvette. It is used as the main body of pirate fleets. It has a decent array of weaponry, but fares best at medium to long range.

Corsair Series Type B (Bombardment) (Type G)

TRN: 1

Little more than a heavily modified Corsair chassis with two heavy cannons strapped to the frame, the Type B is fragile, but can cause serious harm to enemy units.

Corsair Series Type S (Support), "Firefly" (Type C)

The Type S is a modified Corsair chassis, outfitted with a trio of Missile Launchers. Whilst it cannot fight effectively at shorter range, it can quite comfortably offer support to other units.

The Type S is nicknamed the Firefly thanks to it's reactor backport, which also hosts some loading controllers for the port/starboard (but not centerline) missile launchers. Destroying the rear of the Type S will disable those two launchers

Like the Type G, the Type T is very fragile, but packs some serious hurt in the form of specialized long-range missile launchers. It may be easily destroyed, but left to it's own devices, it can easily destroy much larger ships.

Will be converting the meta1 pirates to meta2 standards, hopefully.

Need some awesome Sins of a Solar Empire style asteroid base hideouts for them too, if someone wants to tackle that.
