Sleeper PC Case
I'm working on a computer, but I don't want something flashy and shiny. I want something that doesn't say "I'm obviously expensive." I need a case that fits these requirements but with plenty of space and fan mounts.

Re: Sleeper PC Case
Definitely not one of these
Maybe:
BitFenix Ghost
Thermaltake Urban R21
Nanoxia Deep Silence #
Corsair Obsidian 350D
?
Might be helpful if you post what price range, colour, form factor, etc. you're after.

Re: Sleeper PC Case
I'm looking at a Lian Li for my next build, especially the horizontals. Their cases look austere and featureless, which is actually just the way I like it. I puke a little in my mouth when I see childish, LED-infested pretend jet fighter cases and their entourage of gaudy angular keyboards, shitty fart-cannon speakers and radioactive green mice. They're everywhere, so I puke a lot.

Re: Sleeper PC Case
I had a PC at my dad's house. It had no such things, but it was built out of whatever stuff was left
Meh, fan mounts and space right? Space isn't that hard, is it? You just buy a large case withe enough slots for whatever you want to chuck in there. What kind of PC do you want to build anyway? That might help determine what kind of case you'll want, though I assume you'll be gaming on it (fans = cooling which translates as gaming for me)

Quite frankly I wonder why I ever began making ships for this. You see, my work never becomes quite as good as I feel it deserves to.

Re: Sleeper PC Case
Here are some specifics of what i have and want..
-mATX board
-180mm gpu (passive)
-fan mounts, minimum of 2
-beige
I'm think a casual gaming rig, i got decent hardware already.
(No crysis 3 on ultra anytime soon)
When i say sleeper, i don't mean $50+ dollar case.

Re: Sleeper PC Case
You want beige? Might have to get a second hand case, then - most new cases now seem to be black, white or silver (or some combination of those).
If you'd be okay with white instead of beige maybe the Silverstone Precision PS08W would be suitable? (not sure what the price would be like near you)
Are you going for a PC-that-looks-like-something-from-the-90's-but-can-run-Crysis kind of deal?

Re: Sleeper PC Case
I think he is. Personally I like beige cases too, might be because most of my PC's had one. Now I have a black laptop

Yeah.
I'm a little outdated, but that don't mean I don't work.

Re: Sleeper PC Case
Fancy! How much effect will that have on your PC's temperature?

Rainbow lulz!
Wait, what?
EDIT: Sorry to bother you offtopic, but I can't find that cursed balance sheet in excel (bsfweaponbalance.xls). Where is it?
