Weapon for the zombie apocalypse?

Post by Majicnanas »

Mine would be a Glock G17 or Smith & Wesson Model 59 w/ supressor.

- Takes the most common ammunition on the planet, 9mm Parabellum. (Also a bad thing.)
- Abundance of mags.
- Quiet. ( I like this.)

I am not one for guns but.... something 9mm or .22, semiautomatic, rifle, suppressor, and a good sight. After that I would have a backup trench-fighter stake (railroad stake with brass knuckles for the handle) and some sort of silenced pistol same type of ammo as my rifle.

I would go for a Bowie Knife, Glock G17 and Uzi or MP5.

Claymores around my impenetrable base, a mini-gun and a big ass tank with dual gatling cannons instead of the heavy gun. If your target is chewed up into little pieces, you know it's defiantly dead this time. >;D

Necrontyr, How long could you survive like that though? Gatling guns and mini-guns fire at thousands of rounds per minute. If you want sustained fire for years then how much ammo are you going to hoard? Its why I chose a semi-automatic, you have to hit them in the head to kill them so what is the use of a fully-automatic gun that wastes ammo?

Well, I can't lie. I like big rotating guns that turn stuff to pulp. Not nessesarily useful as you pointed out, but at least I would have one hell of a time before being caught LOL!

Phaser (Type 2) and some way to charge it. Nothing like wide beam mode to buy you some time.

Do you mean this page's explanation?

Quite frankly I wonder why I ever began making ships for this. You see, my work never becomes quite as good as I feel it deserves to.

So by 'wide beam mode' he means a kind of photon shotgun effect.

I'm not sure what he means with "nverse square law?". Huh? What does that have to do with anything?
