So i don't know why cats stare at a dark corner of the ceiling (My friend's cat does that whenever he watches TV in the living room) i've search all over and over but i still end up with answers such as they're looking at spirits, weird huh?

Careful Cryo, It was a post like this that Arcalane called me a 'paranoid loon'.

As for your question, I have never heard of the phenomenon. I thought my dog was being weird when I saw him looking at the ceiling once, but I've since realised that it was the ball-shaped lampshades he was so interested in.

I wish my dog did this stuff. Instead, he can just unlock and open all my doors.

It's a cat. They look where-ever they damn well please. They don't need a reason. If they're looking up into dark corners, maybe it's because they see something in them that interests them, that you can't see, or maybe they're just wanting to look somewhere that isn't too bright. Or maybe they're just cats being cats and doing whatever they want.
