Great. A severe storm has knocked out power in the area. This phone won't last long, so if I don't post for some time, you know why. Dammit, and I just got internet too.

Power is back on. Pretty fast considering that an F2 tornado passed through the town. Trees are still laying everywhere though.

I'm in the hospital. My wife's water broke and now she is due to have the baby any minute. I brought the laptop, so I can possibly make ships during the calm waiting game. (aka: "The calm before the storm")

Wow, congrats!

Maybe your different surroundings will influence your building style.

Thanks everyone.
Don't worry though, I'll still be around. I have been experimenting with triggers and am planning on releasing another tutorial. It will teach newbies how triggers work. I feel it is necessary, because there is alot of new blood showing up recently.

Next up is the trigger tutorial.
I will explain how the parameters work, how to set up trigger lines, understand trigger lines, and weapon triggers.
This includes movement and rotation. Fading will not be included, because it is far too finicky to get working as I want. (I tried, I really did)

Some users think that these forums are dead. I don't believe this, though they certainly aren't very active. Posting just ships does get boring after a while. If people want more activity, they can try writing stories in the holodeck, adding background information to unique faction ships, or even sparring with other DGW users using prepared encounters (though it may not be considered canon until the DGW is finished).

I'm not dead or anything, just been busy with online college, being a new dad, and an extended stay at the in-laws (god, what a nightmare that was).

While I won't be able to make any ships for awhile due to starting a new class for the next 6 weeks. (3d modeling, finally). I can still make tutorials as they can be saved in a text file until they are released. Just let me know if anyone has any ideas as I can't really think of anything else to write a tutorial about. (Excuse the newbie handbook, that'll get finished eventually). Just think of something and if I can produce results (within reason), then I'll write how to do it.
