If it has 72 weapons, it is already stupidly overpowered for DGW stuff, and I'd say... just pick a type of laser you want the HLB to use and use that?

I don't think all of them fire. @Zal, don't try ambitious weapons in DGW, rather, show it off in the custom shipd thread as no balancing standard applies.

I'll cut them to 24 weapons. That's how many barrels there are. (The minimum)
@Doogie: They do all fire, but the overall Maximum DPS of the ship is about 1000 (even with 72 guns) and each shot is subjectable to PD, because I like the particle cannon sparkle trails. (It works for ash trails for fireballs).
I'll just make a custom projectile sprite in photoshop instead of having all of the weapons use the "HLB fireball" trick.
I use rotary cannons with the HLB so I can get around the small clipsizes in the Laser Wars weapons. I also want a decent range, so red and yellow lasers are out. Sadly, as the number of barrels increases for and HLB rotary cannon, the timing system that I use cuts down the DPS. That's why most of them use only three barrels.

Note: I have devised a weapon that behaves in a more stable way that D00D!'s design, which they are all based on.

There were some cuts to this weapon. It is the primary weapon for the HLB 07 Hydra. I use a rotary cannon setup to get around the small clipsizes for the LW weapons. The ship's overall DPS is lower, but the weapon firing is more constant.

Except that's not part of the joke! That's not a joke! When someone says "no pun intended", it means that they said something that could be interpreted as a pun, but it was not intentional. When you make a pun, on purpose, and then say 'hur hur no pun intended' trying to be clever and funny, you just look fucking stupid and uneducated and generally somebody who needs a kick around the head for being thick as a fucking brick.

That's how you look. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt though, and just settle for assuming you're a regular old idiot and not a colossal one.
