Oh, then have a hundred wires to cut to stop the explosion before realising that the wires were actually your life support and the reactor is fake.

I think out character would be dead now. Zal we need a start over, but this time set the scene.

How about he cuts the wires for the life support and some wire that if it breaks, the core would overreact and BOOM!!

Scene:
Aboard a lone battleship, the fuel cells die out. As the crew goes to investigate, a darkness ship is detected off the starboard stern (behind and to the ship's right). What could make this worse?

hidden spy/sabateur kamakaze sacrificing the ship to the darkness(the captain perhaps)

the darkness begin to infect your ship turning into a killing machine out to get you

I'm going to restart this thread with a new premise. (Sorry Jay2Jay, you posted while I was writing this, but you can respond to this one if you'd like to.)

You are a captain. It is 0600 on your birthday. Each person will post one thing that the character could do or have happen for an hour.
Each turn will be one hour to the character.
Instead of bad things, let's see how things would work if it were to be his best day ever.
The game will end at 0000 (Midnight).
