Well, playing battleships forever in the past few weeks had given me quite an apetite for space capital ship battles. I'm probably going to be pulling out some battlefleet gothic stuff soon for me and my friends but wanted to ask the community here a couple questions also.

1. Does anyone know of a good and free print to play space battle table top game?

2. Does anyone know of a good PC capital ship combat game (other than battleships forever)?

3. What are some other random pc/tabletop/boardgames you would think I'd like based on my yearning for large ship combat?

I'd prefer free things obviously but really I'm just curious what the rest of the community here has played that has been fantastic.

Thanks for your help in advanced. :D

Homeworld and homeworld 2 for pc games.

BFG rules you can get for free off the net: http://www.specialist-games.com/battlef ... lebook.asp

Cool, thanks for the links to the rules. I still have the old ones from 2000 I think so that is very helpful. You wouldn't happen to know a place where I could download some BFG ship counters and such to use since I do not have a lot of miniatures would you?

No, but id just make them if I were you, its not that hard. Just print out pictures of the ships from the ship guide and stick em on circles the size of the base.

Try Galactic Civilizations 2 and it's expansion(s). While it lacks tactical combat, the ship maker is awesomeness incarnate.
