Anyone here ever played EVE Online?
I read some cool stories about it and I'm just about to start my free trial, so I'm curious.

Yup. It's internet spaceships with lots of grinding and pretty graphics. It's not very user friendly at first, and unless you're doing something significant in the world it's easy to get bored of the game and yet so addicted to the shiny internet spaceships that you can't put it down.
You also need a good PC to get acceptable FPS even in asteroid belts.

Sigh... If only there was an MMORPG that didn't require grinding...
It's why I gave up playing them.

Well, the only major grinding is waiting for skills to complete or increasing your reputation with a faction.Normandy wrote:Sigh... If only there was an MMORPG that didn't require grinding...

And there are grind-less MMORPGs. Tabula Rasa is a great example. I have never once had to grind between mission chains.
Though I did have some trouble finding the mission chains.
