Ah, Gate88. I tend to re-install this game every few years or so, as it's quite fun, but rather bland. The construction limits are extremely tiny, so your bases tend to always look exactly the same when you hit the limit, as you try to make the most efficient design possible. Of course, I never played multiplayer, so I have no idea what that does for replayability.

The single player mode gets really old after a while, but I tried out multiplayer with my brother, and it makes it a lot more fun. Multiplayer adds an entire new strategy to the game, and jump gates and radar have an entire new use. Unfortunately multiplayer ably works if you know the ip address and port of the host, as th"masterserver" is down.(mostlikely forever:( ) one of the reasons I made this post actually, was to find people to play multiplayer.
