I just watched the movie today, I thought it was a great sci-fi. Has anybody else seen it yet?
You have to read a bit between the lines, but that's what makes it great to me.

I saw it, and I think it was great.
Favorite part is the magnetic catch-your-bullets-then-shotgun-you-with-them trick.

My favorite part was when he caught the rpg with the fingers. That is bad-ass.

Worth paying to see? I saw a trailer a couple weeks back, and it looked pretty kickass. Still debating whether or not to see it or Netflix it when it comes out in a few months.

It suffered the same way war of the worlds did with the screaming little girl taking away from the story.
I think I counted 7 times the main characters nearly died, the characters don't react realistically, and a buch of little things.

District nine was kick ass, specially when victor whats his name goes "Im going to fuck all your shit up with my tesla cannon" It was better then Star Trek im my opinion also.

D9 was friggin' awesome, no doubt about it. Definitely worth paying to see.
My favourite part was... well, honestly, the entire prawn mech sequence.

I fucking loved it. Best sci fi I've seen in a while.
Best parts were the Mech bit and the Attack on the MNU building.

Yes, mecha suit sequence was fucking epic. I had a couple problems with plot holes but it didn't bother me until after the movie, so I don't really care, it was definitely worth seeing.

Crazy awesome movie, breathtaking CGI and action scenes
I loved the documentary-like presentation
The humans acted well...they were evil ';..;'
Did anyone else notice the moral statements in the movie?

the presentation was different than most films these days, though i liked the way Dickus(sounded like that) Vd Merver evolved in the story, first seeing his arm as a burden, but gradually accepting what he was becoming.
and i like the open ending, as you don't know if Christopher comes back in 3 years, and we don't really get to see what happened to him, apart from the flower scene at the end, which may or may not have been him.

Goddamn, spoilers much? I know most people who are going to see it probably already have, but a warning would be nice for those who are waiting for a DVD release or something.
