why can't i choose a avatar in my profile?

AD EDIT; Because when you first got here, you chose an avatar that was SOOOO XBAWXHUEG, Arc simply prevented you from doing so again. Nitwit.

Because you had an avatar that exceeded the 150 by 150 pixel limit or Arcalane just doesn't like you. You can ask Arc for the privilege back, but based on the general forum attitude toward you, I doubt he'll give them back.

We like making peoples lives miserable.

If you can't give yourself an avatar, it is likely because either:

A. You have the option and are so stupid you can't figure it out.

Or

B. Arcalane revoked your avatar privaledges for some reason or another.
