They haven't even started colliding shit in it yet. But so far everything's going smoothly, and more than likely everything will continue to do so. Scientific advancement progresses and all is right in the world.

First person to post idiotic doomsday nonsense is gonna get bitch-slapped so hard you'll be wishing you'd gotten sucked into a black hole.

Of course, you do realize that the likelihood of anything nasty happening is so small that it may as well be infinitesimal, right?

I don't know. Even though I know it's not gonna happen, the idea of an 'end-of-world' scenario still appeals to me, just for the amount of stuff I could do without facing the consequences.

Like staying up after midnight.

The collision stuff actually starts within a month, I think.

Right now they just started the device up.

Will this be the foundation of a bright future? The end of humanity? Or yet another fiasco to teach in history class? Find out next week on Tiny Things Going Way Fast: Season 2.

Whatever it is, it'll be awesome. To answer the original question: I think it's awesome. :D
"Okay. I'm gonna get your money for ya. But if you don't get the President of the United States on that phone, you know what's gonna happen to you?"
"What?!"

Even if a black hole had formed, it would not have consumed the earth. It would have probably done anlot of damage to the facility, but a black hole cannot consume an object of equal or larger mass. For example, If a ball weighing 4 kilograms hit a black hole the size of a blade of grass, the ball would dissipate the black hole, not the other way around. Therefore, the doomsday theroies were totally unnessesary and were started by attention seekers and ghouls.
