So I bought an original ZEN (2GB) at Electroworld (which has a warrantee), now sometimes when I turn it on, I get a blank white screen, but other times it works properly. Can anyone help? And what does the reset hole do?

The reset function is usually there in case it buggers up and none of the buttons work, but I wouldn't be sure about what it does to the memory. To be honest, I'd take/send it back and if it's something obvious, then you'll feel a twit but at least it will work properly afterwards.

resetting it will only get rid of the settings you have on it but i don't know what it will do to your music
