Yes, that kind of story arc was the nail in the coffin of the first cold war, let's leave it to pirates for now.

Towards all: Go ahead.

On the pirates: Cold War is already turning into a headache, don't think I'll be putting in Pirates right now.

I plan to update map soon, then end turn in 1 day.

Suggestion: Post, at the start of every turn, a report like this, for every occupied planet:



Star System A1:
[Player 1] 4x Battleship A, 2x Flagship B
[Player 2] 12x Defense Platform A

Star System B1:
[Player 3] 4x Battleship A, 2x Flagship B
[Player 2] 12x Defense Platform A

Star System C1:
[Player 4] 4x Battleship A, 2x Flagship B
[Player 2] 9001x Defense Platform A

[Player 1]
Used fleet resources: 20/60
Systems under control: 3
- System A
- System B
- System C

[Player 2]
Used fleet resources: 20/60
Systems under control: 3
- System A
- System B
- System C

Or something like that.

Would be a bit of work, though.

Currently I plan to finish the moves this afternoon, then post and end turn Friday or Saturday.

Could we have turns weekly, and also have the exact days on which they will occur stated down? Then we could have discussions in another thread about diplomacy or something. Weekly turns are also better for those who cannot report in every day to check the progress of the cold war.

Maybe have a rule that states that if a player does not play his turn (72 hours after the turn has commenced), he will be required to forfeit it and "pass"? Just another suggestion that could make this game less of a squabble over rules.

If we do this, it would be convenient for me if the mods' end of turn reports were on Monday's, but it's more important what's convenient for the mods.

Also, at that pace, it'll take an average of a month to move a Flagship from one system to another...

Then maybe every 5 days? Whatever it is, the system implemented MUST accommodate everyone to make their turn. Not to mention since this is more of Galactic Conquest rather than a Cold War (which is purely RP), the mods will have a hard time trying to do up everything. The old cold war was interesting though. Maybe I'll go start an RP of my own in the future. Can't stand it if we are really going to take so long, although I do understand why we need to.

Can I surrender my possesions to another player? Like, story-wise a merger or the two empires into one?
