That seems rather a stupid idea, since you can't determine their intended target.

Can't you? A small, fast missile that doesn't do a lot of damage is good against fighters. Larger missiles, with very low acceleration, are good against larger ships.

Personally I would disallow KMs outright due to the amount of confusion and disagreement there will be regarding HP concerns, amount of shrapnel, speed/accel/turning point allocations, possible modification of KMs according to target ships...so to avoid this potential pileup of crap that's headed our way, how about just banning them (and banning Kamikaze AI) completely to prevent anyone from trying to circumvent the rules? Please guys, it's a tournament of ships, fleets and tactical maneuvers, not suicidal AI-controlled missiles with craploads of hidden cargo.

I'm still tweaking my fleet, i'll post it up soon. Couldn't we start with the people who are ready and make sure they don't attack the ones who aren't done?

I was waiting for people to get ships together. I was also rather hoping to find someone else as a third mod, but beggars can't be choosers. As for kinetic missiles... I'll ban them for now, seeing that there are some concerns. If someone suggests a way to balance them, I'll consider allowing them again.

However, this is a good time to see just how dedicated people are.

Well, all my ships' DPS correspond with an equivalent counterpart. Plus, I've tested, and they seem to be pretty equal or weaker then their counterparts. So I guess I'm ready.

Technically, there should be an upper limit for how powerful a flagship can be, at least at <5 nagaya3powers, just to keep things reasonable.

Well im having real problems balencing, i have the first three sorted which i will probably only use to star of with.

Will we be allowed more than one class of vessal per catergory?

Sure. If you want a hundred unique (but balanced) ships, that's absolutely fine. And if you only wanted to run fighters, or only dreadnoughts, that's fine too.
