Look at this post. I don't think I need to explain my vote.

Of the above three choices, Vikings definitely.

Or, to make a new category, the Wraith from Stargate: Atlantis. "Talk to the feeding hand!"

O RLY?

Railguns + Space Marines + distance to cross = Pink Mist again.

Although, you're right about the tank-thing. Not that it changes the mist.

True.

Also true.

BUT!

Railguns + Space Marines + jet packs/teleporters/deep strike + close combat = Junk :P

Assault Marines? Yes.

Terminators? Definitely yes.

Drop pods? No. You can't move after deep-striking.

That being said, I suggest we stop it now. We're hijacking the thread... sorta. Let's just keep it at this:

As long as there is a distance between Tau guns and Marines, Tau win (most of the time, statistics fail us sometimes). Whenever they get close enough, Marines beat greyskins to a pulp.

2nd edition Terminator (1) = dead rubble everywhere
3rd and following editions Termis = shit that are not Termis anymore

And I see no hijacking, CSMs are like space pirates ....

Yeah, used the wrong word. At least we're going off-topic.

In that case, they make a short call to the adeptus mechanicus, how long can 100 ton mech stand against an emperor class titan and his plasma
annihilator?

Titans come as traitors also, so space pirates again...

Battlemechs could easily take down a titan. For one thing, they usually operate in a minimum of lances (5 units)
