I'm inactive on the forum because I honestly am bored of the game right now and find other things occupy my time or entertain me more. If or when that changes, I will once again post and put up ships or whatever assuming the forum is active enough to warrant the effort.

DOOGIE, EXETHALION! Get on this server with me noooow! Minecraft.jbud.org. Not the most reliable thing yet but we've built some nifty stuff and it would be awesome to play with you guys.

On topic, for all that I'm being a hypocrit saying this, its not like theres any reason to have to check the forum every day. If there was one or two good ships a month I would still consider it worthwhile to come around. I too blame minecraft for my lack of progress. Anyway, I'll probably never stop playing this game, just not able to build multiple ships in a day anymore.

Okay, I lied, it's been a week since I've been able to check back.

Wow.

I did not expect this kind of response at all. Maybe I spoke too soon about it being completely dead... Maybe I will stick around a while longer, maybe start building again...

I hope you stick around. All we need is a little life. Perhaps something simpler than the metagame or the tournament vid tried.

I would be on here more often if I could remember the password I use for this forum. XD
Still it would mostly be for the purposes of -lurking-...

...then again uni is starting up again which might mean...anything.

The problem with wyrdysm, is likely the lack of new people coming in.
People will lose interest with the game, eventually. Even the most hardcore veterans of wyrdysm, should eventually lose interest as content is drained.
So generally, to keep activity up, new people would have to come in at a constant rate.

The problem is, the lower activity is, the less likely prospective new members of the community are to stick around. Also, wyrdysm isn't really known for being the most... 'welcoming' community.

Post more, share the game with people, hope they'll post more too, try to make them feel welcome. There you go, you've solved the problem.
Of course, there's the question of whether Wyrdysm has managed to slip too far down the slippery slope of activity loss. Since the more people you lose, the less activity you have, and the less activity you have, the more people you lose.

(That whole sharing the game with people deal is probably the most important, btw. Especially if you attract a lot of attention at the same time)
