Pirates, cause I'm sick of ninjas already(Japanese things arn't that cool dammit!!!), of course if you had put the option for:

Ninjas are masters of infiltration and stealth. They can easily best pirates at swordplay, and they're much sneakier. Also, moar awesome.

Teen of the 80s. Ninja were our bread and butter.

Sneaky, not by attitude, but by training. Poison, not be leaving lunch out but by training. Etc, etc.

You know these guys had to pull a bow for a year before they were given an arrow. Hard corp!

The hinin (their origins) were a social class which meant 'less than human'. They taught the bushi that fair play / honor / bushido was nice words (although appearently not deemed necessary on the lower classes) but payback was a b*tch (another word I'm pretty careful about).

Pirates just took whatever they could grab, and were called privateers if supported by some crown or another. Ninja (the real ones) started out as freedom fighters, and only became part of the Tokugawa machinery later on.

My point is, Imperial Guard has both Pirates and Ninjas, whereas Space Marines and Necrons have none of those... The only other race that can approach that level of cool are the Dark Eldar with their Pirate Ninjas, but those guys are gay..
