+5% power output for all cores.
Can be researched multiple times of course, but the cost increases each time.
Other possibilities include:
Core health (flat, per core type, or %)
Engine output increase (%)
Engine mass reduction (flat per engine type)
Weapon power reduction (flat per weapon, subareas; missile, energy, etc.)
Weapon range increase (flat per weapon, subareas; missile, energy, etc.)
Weapon mass reduction (flat per weapon, subareas; missile, energy, etc.)
etc. etc.
But mostly, focus on how we lay the basic tech tree out and how our tech system will work cost-wise.
