How did you implement surfaces into this game?

How did you get surfaces to work in rooms above 4000 units high and wide? :shock:

I wish to make a game like yours, I love the concept, but having such large surfaces is impossible in such large rooms. I wonder if it's possible to make surfaces view sized?

It's just a 4096x4096 surface. That's all. No it's not good.
