iv'e been playing BSF for a while, came across this error when i tried to start a game: ___________________________________________

of Other Event: Game Start
for object GUI_MainTitle:

Error defining an external function.

did i accidentally delete a file or something? it seems like something that would happen if the BSF launcher couldn't find a important start up file.

This happens when Windows User Account Countrol (UAC) blocks write access to the .dll files in the game directory. Either turning off UAC or install the game to a folder you have full access to (such as the desktop or c:\<username>).

I've been getting this error too, i tried disabling UAC but it still hasn't worked.
