I know it seems weird and all, but I'm a little to lazy to check if this is anywhere.

But how does ranking work in the forums?

Is it by the ships you make or the amount of time you spend in the forums.

I just want to know. Not trying to be a noob or anything. It's killing me from the inside.

It's by number of posts IIRC.

It's just an indicator of the number of posts you've made and as such is completely worthless and not worth paying attention to. Custom ranks/titles can be given out by Admins too, of course.
