I think what's going to happen is each little square on the galaxy map is going to have a map close up. I could do some photoshop magic to all this to make sense of it.

OK, i've added the faction home sectors the the overview map to link in with the arrows on Doogies maps.
Tell me if you want the sectors changed or their naming.
Also we need to come up with a method of WFTU growing but without the stupidity of ill devised factions.

I'll be Somewhere close to the Core of the Galaxy.

To be honest, the maps that I made should be directly adjacent to eachother. The current edition makes the galaxy seem...small, which it isn't. I'll draft something similar to what I mean in a little bit.

(o. o )o Yeah. This minitures galaxy millions of times by ease - especially if each factions controls around dozen to few dozen systems. For example, our galaxy alone has over two hundred billion stars, so I think we all would be situated somewhere in part of the galaxy. Of course, the jump points can be conciderably far from one another, maybe explaining the distance, or.. dunno.
