Game won't launch

I keep getting this error when launching the game:
ERROR in action number 1 of Other Event:
Game Start for object GUI_MainTitle:
Error defining an external function.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Yea I've noticed this too. I think the music .dll is just completely borked now. In your battleships forever directory, edit the bfconfig.ini file and set MusicVol to 0 (change MusicVol=40 to MusicVol=0). That will disable the music and allow you to run the game.
